Whether they intended to or not, the Honey Badgers made a statement last night in round 3 with a commanding performance in their win over the Hornets 64 - 14.

Archie Eather led the way coming out as breaker in all four boulders and pathing the way for the Badgers.  They led from the start and the scoreboard opened up as the game evening progressed.

Communication of coordination sequences really is an art-form and the Badgers displayed sound skills here and had the teamwork and skills to match.  Things came together well on the night for the team in gold so well done and they take the points from round 3.

It wasn't the happiest night for the Hornets. The boulders did not play to their strengths and there's often a fine line in this space between success and walking away empty handed.  Zone 2 and finishes were hard to come by and when Col Cowell went down injured in the second half even super sub Greggles Tighe couldn't spark a revival.  Their teamwork is unquestionable but it simply wasn't their night.

The Hornets will have a break now till the second half of the season starts on 6 May and the Badgers will take confidence out of this and  and will eye off a blockbuster game against the Donkeys next week.
