Headed up by Nikala Murray the South Tamworth Donkeys needed right up the final Round nine to take the win. Tied on 20 points with the North Tamworth Donkeys in round 8 it was a matter of round 9 results to determine the outcome.
The week started with the Daruka Honey Badgers posting a massive final round score of 103 which pushed them into fourth position overall. The Attunga Hornets and the North Tamworth Donkeys both finished on 20 points with the former being ahead on total score points so it ended up Donkeys 1 and 2 in the competition.
Congratulations South Tamworth Donkeys for a well- earned top position and another testament to team depth and consistency and they were the only team who finished inside the top five every round of the competition.
